A clear Winter Solstice.

At the Winter Solstice the sunset/sunrise is at its northern-most position (here south of the equator).  So the best time to get a sunset/sunrise reflection off a north-facing building is around this time.  This happens to be winter in this part of the world, so there are not many clear evenings.  But when they are clear, they are very clear.

When this Solstice window closes it is a long wait till the conditions will be similar.

The other advantage is that the sunset happens earlier so I can get home for dinner and see the kids.
